From my art curatorial practice I know that no one will tell better about the works of an artist than artist him/herself. Probably same goes for fashion designers too. I guess this is what the organizers of A Magazine curated by were thinking about when they came with the idea for this publication. They write on the magazine web-site:

A MAGAZINE is a biannual publication, exploring the creative sphere of a selected designer in each issue. We invite a guest curator – an international fashion designer, group or house – to develop innovative, personalised content that expresses their aesthetic and cultural values.

Each magazine is a journey into the world of one designer, where he/she is a guide, landscape and a road.
